Yme: I don't think it saw me.
But otherwise my prospects are foul.
I can't hope that the Oistrem will overlook my frenting rod, or my presence.
Even if it can't see me, Oistrem have ways of detecting Strasmin through influences
that flow with the air.
So I am genuinely stuck.
If I flee it can easily track me down, and I would not survive for long without my rod in any case.
If I stay, it will detect and confront me as I wield this doubtful stick.
Is there any chance that I could strike it from behind while it feeds on the yaoc?
Almost none, but I only have the dregs of probabilities with which to work...
