(Aun secures his damaged pack and also his frenting rod. He takes some bandages and starts to tend to Chax's wounds, removing debris and applying the bandages.)
Aun: This stuff can’t be helping you to think straight. Let’s get patched up.
Chax (staring off into the distance): .Forsaken... faithless... A bare twig before the avalanche. No deeds of honor remembered... all is silent.
(Aun confronts Chax, staring him full in the face.)
Aun: Nai, that’s a load of old chimmer! Chax! Look at me and listen!
